Job Summary:
The Production Engineer is responsible for implementing production process & procedures in the assembly line to reduce wastages (7M) by following Kaizen principles while improving efficiency, quality and safety thereby reducing the operational cost.
Education Requirements:
BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production/Automobile/Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Work Experience Requirements:
1-2 Years
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Knowledge in forecasting, production planning and inventory management principles.
- Knowledge in Six sigma, lean manufacturing and Kaizen principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Should be fluent in English.
- Excellent report generation skills.
- Proficiency in MS office packages.
- Good team working & collaboration skills.
- Exposure to 2D/3D drawings.
- Knowledge in SAP preferred.
- Strong analytical skills. Should be able to analyse data, understand production metrics and forecast future requirements.

Roles, responsibilities, and authorities:
• Creates monthly production plans based on business targets
• Monitors stock of sub materials and creates purchase requests in SAP
• Ensure availability of Knock-down (KD) parts and availability of materials required for production
• Follow up and coordinate with supply chain division to ensure material stock.
• Reporting production status and any production issues to upper management
• Assist in preparing semi-annual or annual production plans.
• Work closely with production team to ensure compliance of production plans for new models.
• Revise production schedule when required.
• Prepare daily and weekly production reports.
