Job Summary:
To ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of the factory by managing Facilities, Facility Maintenance, and HSS teams. The role focuses on maintaining infrastructure reliability, enforcing health and safety standards, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous truck assembly operations.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
Work Experience Requirements:
8–12 years of experience in facilities, maintenance, and/or HSS within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of industrial facilities and utilities.
- Solid understanding of HSS regulations and risk management.
- Leadership, contractor management, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize under operational pressure.
- Effective reporting and communication skills.

Roles, responsibilities, and authorities:
1. Facilities Management
- Oversee operation and condition of all factory facilities including buildings, utilities, workshops, offices, and yards.
- Ensure reliability of utilities (power, water, compressed air, HVAC, firefighting systems).
- Manage facility service providers, contractors, and vendors.
- Plan and control facility-related operating and capital budgets.
2. Facility Maintenance Management
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facility-related assets.
- Develop maintenance plans and schedules to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Monitor maintenance KPIs, costs, and resource utilization.
- Ensure proper documentation, work orders, and maintenance records.
3. Health, Safety & Security (HSS) Management
- Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and internal HSS standards.
- Lead risk assessments, safety inspections, and incident investigations.
- Implement safety programs, toolbox talks, and emergency response plans.
- Oversee site security, access control, and safety compliance.
4. Leadership & Team Management
- Manage Facilities, Maintenance, and HSS teams.
- Define roles, responsibilities, and performance objectives.
- Ensure adequate staffing, training, and competency development.
- Promote a strong safety culture and operational discipline.
5. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001 if applicable).
- Prepare regular reports on safety performance, maintenance effectiveness, and facility costs.
- Support internal and external audits.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities in facilities and safety systems.
- Support plant expansions, layout changes, and installation of new facility equipment.
- Implement best practices in facility management and industrial safety.
